Three Generations

Our family's been growing certified organic avocados in Somis, California since 1983. Levi's grandfather Ed got his first ranch that year, and the family business grew from there. Today we farm 240 acres with 17 total varieties - not just Hass.

We use highly efficient micro-irrigation, have 38 soil moisture sensors, a weather station, irrigation automation, and ultra-high-efficiency wells to be as sustainable as we can. Our office and warehouse is powered by solar power.

Our team includes David who is President of Operations, farm manager Manolo, foreman Miguel, and 10 full time workers who've been with us for years. Their expertise makes everything we do possible.

Why Direct-to-Consumer

Most avocados go through packing houses, distributors, and retailers. That means weeks in cold storage, ethylene gas treatment, and multiple handling points.
